My latest body of work in the studio, “All Dat Glitters Aint Goals” (Lyons Wier Gallery Sept6-Oct6 2012) inspired me to dust off my mic and drop a few hot bars on these fools. The experience was nothing short of DOPE!
I collaborated with one of Atlanta’s mightiest producers, the homie ILLASTRATE who outfitted me with some banging tracks that really made me step my game up. I went even furthered and made a few calls to some of my ATL hip hop heroes to also lend their talents to the project. The end result is a 5 track EP that features the likes of: Stic.Man (of the hip hop duo Dead Prez), Ekundayo, El Sun and Thunda (from the mighty L.I.U.N.S aka All Nice and Decent crew), Starchile‘s Massive the Victor and Divine Wiz, Methuzalah, Clan Destined, Boog Brown, MikeFlo, Joe D, and G.R.E.A.T. SCOTT.

Mark your calendars and get ready for the next LIVE installment of The 15 Project. Many of you have just become familiar with T15P via the blog which is great! But the live show goes into uncharted dimensions. Our next installment is set to catapult the show into hyper-reality as we celebrate BLACK MUSIC MONTH (June) as well as an all new venue for the show at Fulton County’s Southwest Art Center!!!
There is so much to be excited about it can barely be contained. We’re welcoming back our cast characters that include MUSICAL DIRECTOR DJ KEMIT, hype man and side kick Fabian “OCCASIONAL SUPERSTAR” Williams. We are also pleased to welcome back from his latest interdimensional music tour The STRUMMING MUMMY whose sure to have a new tune up his bandages. The crew and I will host our distinguished guests: Legendary drummer and music guru LIL JOHN ROBERTS (The Mo’nique Show), R&B Soulstress.. the one and only ANGIE STONE and hip hop icon STIC.MAN (Dead Prez)!!! Last but not least, we just confirmed a special LIVE MUSIC PERFORMANCE by one of the hottest music acts in the country right now. This shit is SO HUGE I can’t even say the name… you’ll just have to be there to experience it.
