Dancing with the “bars”
House hop they’re calling it. If you’ve ever been to a house club, you’ve seen how expressive the dancers can be. House music dancers typically use their body movements to catch every beat, often incorporating foot flourishes, spins and upper body movements referred to as “up rocking”. Combine that with hip hop moves and music and you get a whole new style that’s too fresh for words. I’m sure The 15 Project’s resident music maestro DJ KEMIT will get a kick out of this. I can’t wait to get to the next SPREADLOVE party and try this shit out myself!
(Forgive me in advance if I accidentally kick you in the chest or knock your drink out of your hand. These dances are not as easy to do as they may appear.)
