A Black Bear’s Story

Uncle ‘Hamu, could you read us a bedtime story?
Please, huh, please?
Alright, you kids get to bed, I’ll get the storybook
Y’all tucked in? Yeah, heeeeere we go…

Once upon a time, not long ago where people overreacted and put on a show. Where joggers jogged on the edge of woods and reporters made a story however they could. There lived a little bear who was misled as he wandered through the trees looking to be fed. He walked around with relative ease until a little lady saw him stand up in the trees. She called another and another a sister and brother even called the cops and a news reporter. The reporter looked around and started acting erratic he didn’t see the bear but they saw where he scatted. Shouting “I need a bear standee, hurry up RUN” his producer went to Kinko’s and made the guy one. They ran through the woods and there were trees everywhere, they even talked to an expert who’d never seen a bear. But they had to tell the news at 6 you see, so they traipsed through the woods with the bear standee. They got the piece done and all the glory and this is the way I have to end this story. It was really on the news, no it wasn’t a dream. I still hear the lady talking about the way that she screamed. This is hella funny so be ready to laugh. It’s what happens when life is boring and you choose the wrong path.

Good night.
